What Are Learning Styles?
Learning styles simply refers to the different approaches people take to learning. Two things happen when you learn:
- New information is taken in
- The information is processed
The way in which you best take in and process new information is known as your learning style. You might, for example, learn best by attending workshops, by experience or by observation. Knowing you learning style will help you:
- understand the best way for you to learn
- determine the appropriate techniques to use when learning
